i wonder if there is a scriptable faxsoftware for the mac.
i know, there are: faxexpress and faxSTF. but scriptable?
Both are scriptable, to some extent. I've got a copy of FaxExpress
that's about three or four years old, but it has fairly comprehensive
support through its AppleScript plugin. You could actually do
something useful with it. Apart from that it's very clean,
uncluttered, well behaved fax software. Best I've seen on the Mac.
I've got version 6 of FaxSTF and it's only moderately scriptable. If
there's a newer version, perhaps it's better. I've never tried to
script STF, but from the look of the dictionary you couldn't do much
useful with the few commands and objects it has.
anyone out there having experiences scripting these softwares?
I've scripted FaxExpress, but it was three years or more ago. It's a
nice application. I sent you the AppleScript dictionary under
separate cover.
