Here's a post from a.c.l.a, can anyone shed any light?
I'm getting a peice of data cak from an application that looks like this
>in the event log: <<data lpnt00000852FFFFFFA3>> If I get the class of the
data it is a long point. How do I get at the X and Y values of this point?
Or how can I coerce this long point into a list of numbers?
there is no mention of 'long point' in ALSG.
Anyone have a TMPL for long point?
I hope you can find a more elegant solution, but if you eventually do
not, you can (assuming you can use Smile):
1. make the data into a string ("display" does that)
2. make the 2 x 8 hexa into 2 integers (Smile also offers helpers for
that, check its "Programmer's tools")
