I'm running GC 4.4.4 in OS X 10.2.2 and I have the exact same
problem. I've tried several variations and I am unable to script a
save to a new location/non-existent file. Were you ever able to
resolve this? If not, I guess I'll contact the GC developer to see if
it's a known bug.

Rob:

I ran into the same thing and ended up with the clunky workaround of
opening for access then simply closing the target file/destination. GC
can then 'find' the destination file without problem. If it is a GC bug,
the workaround may provide a 'bridge' between versions. One or two
others reported similar problems.

Don't know fer shure if it's a bug with GC. Let us know what Mr. Lemke
has to say.

Thanks Peter.

Yes, evidently it is a bug. According to the version history, it was fixed in v4.5. I guess it's time to dish out the upgrade fee.
