Okay, didn't take long for it to break again (in fact, the one time it
worked was some kind of fluke, or I did something different without
realizing it). Anyway, I've found that if I move the close command to a
separate tell block and wrap that second tell block in an ignoring
application responses block, it seems to work fine. Phew! Thanks for
playing. You've been a great crowd. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to
tip your bartender and waitresses.
