S#!t, I hate when this happens. I just tried to run this script again, only
this time I opened the document I was using as a test and resized it so that
I'd be able to see my desktop printer icons while the script was executing
(I wanted to check if the virtual printer was showing any activity when
Quark was trying to close the document and hanging). I saved the document to
retain those window preferences, closed it, and then ran the script again.
It worked flawlessly. So now I don't have much hope of figuring out what the
problem was, and so I won't know how to avoid it in the future. Harumph!
Is it possible that the document preferences where somehow to blame
(corrupted maybe?--although you would think there would be a problem opening
it if that were true). Perhaps it would be worth the time to add some code
to the script so that when the document is first opened, Quark changes its
zoom or something and then saves it, just to insure that the document
preferences are freshly written? Maybe I should spend some time trying to
break it again, or maybe I should just forget about it and hope it never
happens again.
Any comments?
