OK. My script is no longer exhibiting the same bad behavior. Now when I add new files to the folder while the script is copying another file, the script seems to run again as many times as I changed the folder. Still not the ideal situation, but it looks like I won't miss any new/changed files anyway. Still would appreciate any advice/comments.
