.[OT] New Mac blues

I have just set up my new dual processor G4 which was bto by Apple with a 72Gb SCSI hard drive in it. I was assured by the Apple Sales people that I could use ATA and SCSI together so I put in my extra 80Gb ATA IDE from my other G4 (the one I am using to write this) only to find that my new Mac has "lost" my SCSI drive. I have tried seeing it using Disk Utility but it does not show at all.

I have checked all the connections to the SCSI drive, and they seem to be OK.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It is quite off-topic, but it is 1:29 here in the UK and Christmas Day...
and maybe there is someone out there who can help.

Many thanks (and Merry Christmas)

Oz
