A couple of things here:

1. If you select one or more messages and choose 'Add Sender to Address Book', Mail will add the senders of all the selected messages to the Address Book.

Understood. I'm trying to add recipients, not senders.

2. The addresses in the To: or Cc: fields of any message you send will automatically be added to the Address History, a list of addresses managed by Mail (in the Window menu)

*nod* again, but I'm trying to add recipients of received messages, not sent messages. Further, I'd then have to track them down individually, comparing them to the addresses in the sent message.

Attached in a script that should do what you want, tested on 10.2.3, but should work on 10.2 or later.

Thanks. It worked perfectly.
