Sorry to be so negative, but there is no such thing as a unique info. This
topic is well documented in Apple's developer documentation, and they seem
to think that there is no better solution than a dongle. Otherwise, the
choice is, a poor protection, or a disgusting user experience.

Apart from third party devices, the usual second best choice is the
Ethernet card number, which is unique, but which can be overriden (on
Classic) by a resource. Let alone machines without Ethernet (boo hoo! my
Performa!).
