How to get info on number of monitors?

  • Subject: How to get info on number of monitors?

Hi...

For some startup activities I would need to get the info on how many monitors are connected to my Mac. One way to obtain this info is to use the Apple System Profiler, but it seems like overkill for the purpose, although it does work. Is there another way, however - perhaps a scripting addition command - that would provide this info as well?

Grateful for any pointers, best regards

Tero Siili
