Huh? I didn't see anyone *demanding* anything from anyone... just some lively conversation about what such a construct might look like, and the occasional bit of confusion and correction regarding the differences between switches and if-then-else trees.
In any case, these issues have been filed as enhancement requests, so everyone should be happy now. If anyone flamed you as a result of your post, it's *their* problem not yours.
