I've reported this curious behavior to the team responsible for the

Is there somewhere where we can review bugs 1 through 2,860,198?
That'd be
one hell of an interesting read.

Sorry, not that old. the oldest bug in the database (0024836) is an
enhancement request for the ability to check and uncheck script menu
items in the MPW Shell. Filed 1/6/1988. So while the last fifteen
years of Apple history are well-recorded in th bug database, the first
ten are lost.
Developers in the ADC program have limited visibility to bugs, and all
the reported bugs on our Open Source projects (e.g Darwin) are public.
