Everything now works just the way I want! Fully scripted of course.
(The conversion step, however, had to be done in two steps: first resave the uncompressed NDIF into a compressed NDIF, and then create a smi file from that compressed image as source.)
While on the issue.....
I wonder what you usually use for making macbin-converted smi-files?
(I use 'Drop MacBinary III' version 1.1. Apple uses macbin-converted image files a lot, but I haven't seen any Apple Tool for that? My method works OK, but I can never be sure if the files are flawless not; I have had a user having problems - he had shrinkwrap set to open Macbin files. Don't know if it was only my macbin file that caused him error message or if he gets that for all macbin files.)
