Just to show that not all urban myths are myths...actual B-1B in flight
write-up, and I was there when it was read at the post-flight maintenance
debrief...
Problem: TACAN system not operational in Official (OFF) position
Fix: Turn TACAN to the ON position.
Of coures, you have a 20 minute break in between the reading of the problem
and the fix entry for stunned silence followed by the sounds of hysterically
laughing people sliding out of chairs....
