Dear Lyle,

I read a technical note from Apple that said it was going to bundle AS1.6
with all new units under OS9.2.2 because of problems users were encountering
with AS1.7, predominantly with coercion issues. The note also related that
they had not decided to do the same thing with the OS 9.x -> 9.2.2 upgrade
yet, but were considering it. So, if you have a new machine (released in the
last 3 weeks), it does indeed have 9.2.2 and AppleScript 1.6.
