"set the creator" here is a bit more than just
set creator type of alias "..." to "ToyS" (or whatever actually works in
Finder). Various other changes are needed in resources (Mac OS 9 and down)
to avoid orphaning the changed editor's own old files, while having it take
over the S.E.'s old files. And I have no idea what to change in Mac OS X.
