Yep, the same happens when I try a straight drag n'drop. I also tried saving the script as an
application and when I ran it I got an error saying, "can't make 'Users' into an integer" (???).

I've temporarily got round the problem by d/l'g "DotZip" from Script Builders and that works fine
but I'm very puzzled. This is the second time this week that AS has come up with odd errors. I tried
a simple script that attempted to get "timestring" in a date script and that also didn't work (this
on 9.1. and AS 1.6 and also AS 1.8.1 and X.1.3).

As you say, though, it's probably a rogue file/folder. The odd thing is that the script copies the
"invisible" files but baulks when it gets to the "normal" files.

Oh, well. Back to the drawing board...

Regards,

Phil (please cc me - on digest. Thanks :)
