There are times when I'd like to "quit" an extension (to avoid extension
conflicts) without restarting.
Not being a programmer, please forgive (or correct) my terminology and/or
(lack of) understanding, in the following
Would quitting a background process via applescript clear the "nasty
stuff" (init code?, system patches?) that causes the conflicts.
If for example, I wanted to run an App "Z" which had a conflict with
Quickeys, would telling "Quickeys Backgrounder" to quit allow me to run
app Z without experiencing the conflict?
Further, is there any way to "quit" extensions (via applescript) that do
not appear in the list of processes? -- (again without restarting..)
Thanks in advance,
xandra
