Actually, if you've got some Ascript experience, it's really not bad at
all. Interface Builder will, once you build the thing you want, insert the
relevant "on open theObject... end open" etc clauses in your script. You
then do the work of saying what should happen.

You could create it as a module which you can reuse, but if you're doing
any sort of Astudio work then you'll probably need to vary the details of
what's shown in the progress bar for each app. I mean, I suppose you could
create a stand-alone app; and AStudio apps are very scriptable. It's quite
trivial though to build a new AStudio app to do simple functions.

Yeah, but the only way to find it out at the moment is some trial and error
with the examples. Try adding progress bars to things. And also, join the

It's still pretty low-volume, though the issue of progress bars is already
in the archives :-)

I guess you can tell I have abandoned MacOS 9 :)
I think that with Adobe's latest OSX-friendly Quark-killing efforts, and
the fact that it's pretty hard to max out dual 1Ghz G4s
(

ml) a lot of people will be coming along presently. Might as well get the
room straight and get first dibs on the party food.
