And I went on to say that the script was getting ahead of itself before
the applications were ready for the cutting and pasting.
I tried doing the same thing by writing the text from AppleWorks into a
variable and using that to set the contents of the Tex-Edit window. It
works a lot better, but am I going to run into some sort of memory
problem if I'm storing a lot of text in the variable? I would imagine
that the answer is 'probably not' in OS X, but 'almost certainly' in OS
9.x and earlier. Is that right?
Thanks
