URL Access Scripting?

I've been working with URL Access Scripting to send
an HTML file up to an FTP server. The error message
I keep getting is:
"URL Access Scripting got an error: File some object wasn't found"
I have alternated different files and methods of specifying them
to upload, no difference in message, indicating there is a problem
with the way I'm specifying the FTP address. I also alternated the
username and failed to authenticate, indicating that the way I was
specifying username and password were OK. Also tried
"with Authentication" method which also indicated the problem
was not with the username and password or the way it was
specified.
So, I'm pretty sure that it is just the way I'm specifying the server
side of the address spec. However, no matter what I've tried with
that, same result.... Read somewhere that it was broken in AS 1.6
So, tried with 9.2.2 & AS 1.7, same result, 9.2.1 & AS 1.6, same
result... Here's the URL, password, and username, can someone
show me what's going wrong, pulling my hair out...here's username
and password below.
I noticed in one example that I saw it used the upload file's name
and put it at the end of the upload address? However, apple's
examples did not do that? Maybe that has something to do with it,
tried with & without, no luck.
Also tried different domains and different sample scripts, tried
everything I could think of. Please help. TIA.
--- begin script
-- UserName: "ehost"
-- PassWord: "abc123"
-- HostAddress: "64.70.132.229"
-- an alias reference to the uploadable file
set this_file to choose file
-- the FTP URL of the receiving directory
set this_URL to "
ftp://ehost:email@hidden/"
try
-- try connecting for 5 minutes
with timeout of 300 seconds
tell application "URL Access Scripting"
upload this_file to this_URL with progress
quit
end tell
end timeout
on error the error_message number error_number
tell application "URL Access Scripting" to quit
if the error_number is not -128 then
tell application (path to frontmost application as text)
beep
display dialog the error_message buttons {"Cancel"} default button 1
end tell
end if
end try
-- end script
