Version of Illustrator 9.0x docs?

anyone know if there is a method to determine if illustrator docs were
last created/saved with versions
9.0 or 9.02 of illustrator?
( need to weed out our 9.0 illy docs,, say about 3000 of them........
9.0 bad, 9.0.2 good. )
As far as I can see, Illustrator does not version/stamp the documents
when saved as .eps, but does so when saved as .ai docs.
anyone have any ideas?
