I believe so. I don't really know, as I don't have Office on my Windows box.

I do have VBA though, and it has a Reference menu item which allows you to select the applications (and whatever else) you want to script from a dialog box where you check the box by the app. The Object Browser subsequently shows this set of terminologies.

If there's such a thing in the Word VB editor, then you're good to go.
