I used to work with "puppet menu" (Akua Sweets), "do menu menu item" (Prefab
Player extension, shareware, free 30-day trial) or "Select Menu Item" (Menu
Events Scripting Addition & extension).

I think that you can't "select" a menu at the Finder and the Quark's menu
class is read-only.
