Generally, I try to find an icon for my drive which I like and then name it to match that. Currently my work machine has a couple of Star Trek ships since I found some very nice large OS X icons. My home machine is Magneto and the Titanium Mac (with apologies to Paul McCartney) since X-Men icons were easy to find and the pun was the whole point.

http://www.iconfactory.com site has LOTS of cool icons and can serve as a fine place to work up some inspiration.
Of course, everyone's version of flair is different.
