I'm looking for a way to get a script that's hosted on a file server to be multi-user. I've tried setting the multi-user flag in ResEdit, but that hasn't helped so far. For the moment, I've got multiple copies of the same script available on the server just in case we need more than one instance.
Do I get you right? You want to be able to start the same script on different machines?

I guess the problem is that AppleScript wants to open the script for exclusive read/write, to be able to store modified properties on exit. Maybe it helps if you make the script read only?
