I am running OS 9.2.2 in a G4 Cube.
Smile 1.8.5 definitely crashes if a hotkey is pressed while Smile is
running. For example, F4 key opens iCab then a restart is required but ONLY
when Smile 1.8.5 is running.
Otherwise all my scripts are running.
So far.

This crash does not happen with 1.8.4 in 9.2.2, I checked.

Try Smile 1.8.6 (see my previous post).

Have you tried creating a new file in Smile 1.8.6, and then saving it? You get an error that it couldn't set the path to an alias. Not only that, but I find it interesting that the Smile 1.8.4 -> 1.8.6 installer turns my copy of Smile into 1.8.5...a little strange, that.

Just to say:

Smile 2.3.0 works just fine on 10.1.2 :) So does AppleScriptStudio.

The Page Up and Page Down keys don't work in Smile 2.3.0 on my TiBook (function-up arrow and function-down arrow). Neither to Home or End. They all just stick the unknown character symbol into my scripts. Very frustrating when navigating a large script.
