including script in DVD root level

  • Subject: including script in DVD root level

Hello,

I was looking around for some scripts that can do
following...(I don't have a clue if this is possible, I'm totally new to
Applescript)
When I'm making a cross-platform hybrid DVD (video+rom), I have to collect
all my files on a disc of the PC where the DVD authoring program is
installed on.
I've managed to retain the data and resource forks by copying the files from
Mac to PC with Miramar's PC Maclan, so everything works, no problem there...

When burning a DVD disc-image to DVD-R, there's no option to make the
Mac-rom auto-bootable (like you can do with Adaptec's toast).
So my question is, can I use Applescript to include a script on the DVD that
:
- auto-launches the Mac application, like an autorun.inf file on PC
or
- resizes the window when I open the DVD by double-clicking so the
application's icon is the only thing visible in a little window ?
(Now the window is always a fixed size with files ordered alphabetically
from left to right, no matter what I do)
Basically my question is : is it possible to attach an action script to a
DVD disk like you would do with a folder ?

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated !

Kindest regards,

Gerrit Lauwers
