Yes, that _gets_ the creation date, what I want to do is _set_ the
creation date.

Hi
I know there are OSAXen that can do this in Mac OS 9 or earlier,
however I'd like to be able to change file creation dates in Mac OS X
from within AppleScript. I have a bunch of digital photos in various
folders that have bizarro creation dates thanks to a bug in some
capture software, and I'd like to be able to fix them based on the
capture date that's contained inside the image files. I can read the
capture date no problems using other software and AppleScript, but
can't find any way to change the actual file creation date. TIA.
