Since they broke the Style Sheet scripting part of Quark 4.x it seems like it can't be done... so I am using PreFab Player to emulate the users actions. BTW this is for the REALLY novice Quark User or un-Trainable. Xtags/XPress Tags are good for things all ready created... WITH font style and leading attributes already in place. XData is a cool xtension, I am reading the Manual now. It will come in handy down the line. . should work fine from Script Editor, FaceSpan, whatever. you'll spend most of your time working out the tags that represent your style sheets. the scripted part is just importing the tags into QXP. you could also try plain XPress Tags (built in) -- not sure if style sheets are supported... -- steve harley email@hidden Kevin Gogerty AppleScript Developer email@hidden www.tbl2000.com/applescript
