Mario,
you should be more specific about what OS version and what version of
AppleScript (get info on "AppleScript" in the Extensions folder) you are
running. Users have complained of a myriad of bugs when updating to 9.2.1
(AS 1.7). These can be fixed by reverting to AS 1.6. It would be fun too, if
you could show us some script.
When I get repeated crashes in the Finder, I first usually suspect some kind
of disk corruption (Disk First Aid will tell you if something obvious is
broken). Next I follow the usual chain of mac troublshoots, culminating in
the zapping of p-ram and running about the room angrily.
