Thanks!
I found what I needed on Mike Bombich's site. I wanted to use ASR to copy a
full install of 10.1.2. Version 2.1.2 of ASR is available and I used Mike's
info to do it. The problem seems to have resulted from trying to use ASR to
copy the source volume to a Disk Copy image that existed on the boot volume.
ASR kept unmounting the image when it quit all applications. All I had to do
was boot from a disk other than the one that contained the destination image
before copying the source. I was able to get a full 10.1.2 volume with
updated DVD player and Internet explorer on a compressed Disk Copy image
that was about 527 megs, so no problem putting a network capable bootable CD
with the ASR program, scripts and source image.
