Not true. OmniWeb supports picts, and I suspect Opera does as well.
I've not checked Mozilla (don't have it installed).
I can see the PNG is superior to all others, I'm sticking to that.
PNG is certainly the best format out there for the web, but is not
supported with older browsers.
