Michelle and Joe,
The folder exists and the script worked with 9.1/1.5.5 and 9.2.1/1.6. I
duplicated the environment, tried it again and that's what failed under
10.1.2.
Daniel Sabsay replied off-list with a prescription that worked. The only
thing I added was "without invisibles" after "as alias" and it did the
trick.
I posted Daniel's cure below so others could see.
