Getting Mac OS X's Ethernet Address/Hostname via AppleScript

Hello:

How can you get the the "Ethernet Address" and "Hostname" for Mac OS X 10.1.2 via AppleScript. I need these items to automate renaming ByHost folder filenames to correspond to cloned machine. In short, the ByHost folder contains hardware specific filenames, using "Ethernet Address" and "Hostname". When Mac OS X is cloned to another machine these items change, different "Ethernet Address" and "Hostname" and these files define settings for screen saver-set in System Preferences, iTunes, iPhoto, etc.

Anyway, any suggestions?
