Just another of the idiosyncrasies of scripting QuarkXpress.
For some reason, there must be a control character or something in the
paper size string, because your script gives me the same error -- until
I get the paper size of "A3" and paste that from the result window into
the script. It looks the same, but no longer errors. At first I
thought a conversion might be required, but according to the dictionary,
paper size takes a string.
See if that works for you, anyway.
FWIW, I gave up trying to script the Print Setup record in Xpress and
bought MadeToPrintXT <
http://www.callas.de>. It's kind of expensive,
but if you have a high production workflow that depends on Xpress, it's
probably worth it.
