Going OT, but... three words: Game developer's kit.

Seriously, consider what a grassroots boost it might give to AS if kids
could tinker away writing the next Asteroids or Space Invaders in a
dirt-simple language like AS. It was writing silly, crappy little games on
an 8-bit micro 20 years ago that introduced me to programming, and it was
lots of fun to do.

Now _there's_ an interesting thought: ASS as a quick-n-easy way to GUI-fy
command-line tools coming over from the unix sector... gotta be potential
there.
