With which I became acquainted at a post meeting (discussion of Dylan)
dinner several years ago, at the hands of co-author Steve Strassmann.
Steve read snippets during dinner...eating was difficult.
It's on a shelf here in the room (but not the one I can reach without
getting up).
It's worth tracking down. (sendmail, which is on our Mac OS X machines,
has improved a lot since the period discussed in the book...but the
configuration file still looks most like a dump of the program's internal
state table.)
