Your faith in the Finder's "whose" clause and in its "entire contents"
might be exaggerated.

You may need to be more pragmatic, and test things before making them into
a big script.

You do not say what OS you are running. If you are running OSX, since
"entire contents" is broken, your script may not run properly. Don't
bother. In a few days, Satimage will release a new version of the Smile
freeware, which includes a "list files" command which does like "entire
contents" except it's much faster and reliable.
