On 7/3/02, Ken Fleisher commented:

Hello. Is there a way with Eudora v5.1 to have an AppleScript automatically triggered by one of the filters?

Nope. The feature has been asked for on numerous occasions but the response from at least one Eudora programmer was that they felt it was too risky. What a crock. I haven't heard of any cases of mass destruction caused by this feature in Outlook Express or Mailsmith.

With that said, a determined scripter could probably come up with a suitable solution. For instance, a stay open or scheduled script could check a mailbox periodically for filtered messages and then take appropriate action when messages are found.
