Looking to display an image on screen

I'm working on a project using FaceSpan and Photoshop to add IPTC info to photos. I would like to be
able to display the image onscreen while the IPTC info is being entered in the FaceSpan app, without
using Photoshop (most of the stations the data entry will be done on do not have PShop installed).

The images being cataloged will be TIFF, EPS and JPG, and could be either RGB or (more likely) CMYK.

I'd appreciate any pointers.
