Seems I've found a clue as to why I can't get to the Photoshop
dictionary: Photoshop 7 turns out to be one those package structures for
OS9 and OS X.

I tried to open the Scripting Plugin in RedEdit, but saw a folder instead
of an app there - that was the clue. So I went inside the package, opened
the file inside it, used RedEdit to copy the resources into a new file
and save it as a new app.

Then back to Smile, and I took a look at the dictionary of the newly
created file: presto, there it all is, a complete Photoshop dictionary.

So it seems that Script Editor and Smile can't access the dictionary on
OS9 if the application is a package. Any way around this? Could this be
related to the versions I'm using? (ScriptEditor 1.5.5, Smile 1.7.2)

Wim
