Finding Remote Mounted Volumes (OS X)

  • Subject: Finding Remote Mounted Volumes (OS X)

I've just started to script OS X and am having problems with remote
volumes. I'm doing backups to an iDisk. Under OS X I could just "List
Disks" to get a list of all volumes. Under OS X, the remote volume is not
listed. So I thought I could check the Desktop. If I get a directory of
the current user's desktop the volume does not show there. So, I decided
to check /Volumes and I can see the volume there, but even after the
volume is dismounted it still appears in /Volumes.

Is there a reliable way to see if a remote volume is mounted under OS X?

Thanks!
Andy
