A plain click simply selects it in the attachments pane. Double click
opens the document in its application (or runs the application if it's
an application instead of a document). Option double click opens the
enclosing folder in the Finder and selects the file's icon.

I just discovered that option-double-clicking an attachment in Emailer
reveals the file in the Finder. Or maybe I forgot: it seems so natural
now that I can't believe I didn't already know it.
Not sure I understand this....doesn't just a plain click do it?
