Hello all,
I just bought Script Debugger 3 and I'm bummed. I can't work the way I
did with Smile. I talked to Latenight Software about my problem and I
was hoping one of you might shed some light. I work with applets that
are over 1200 lines and are stored on a SCSI raid connected to a Dual
800 OSX Server. I'm at my Quicksilver 733 editing these applets. With
Smile I was able to make a change and hit save. The script compiled and
saved. Life was good. Now with SD3 when I make a change and hit save I
get progress bars: "Compiling...", then "Getting Source...", then
"Preparing to display", then "Storing Script", then an error dialog
"File is busy -47." The file busy error only happens when I'm working
directly off the server, but that's how I prefer to work. There is a
work around. If I make my change and then compile there is network
activity for a few seconds. When that stops I can hit save. If anyone
can suggest a fix I'd appreciate it.
Bill
