Re: Preparing a lecture

After some face to face discussions I have decided to go ahead with my talk. The goal will be to introduce some folks who are Macusers in the strictest sense to the joy of creative programming. They can do things themselves! I really do know enough AppleScript to do that and I will try hard to suppress my opinions and frustrations. I will mention other scripting delivered by Apple like perl and cshell but I won't talk about NextStep.

I very much appreciated your responses and I did take the "don't do it" comments seriously. They may yet turn out to be the best advice. I will be using most of the topics suggested and they are appreciated.

With your help I may bring about 20 new AppleScripters into the fold on 25 Aug.

Thanks to all.
