Not sure if this will be helpful or not to know, but the (Associated Press) AP, for
example, uses FreeHand to create all
of their election graphics which if I am not mistaken include graphs and charts. The
ENTIRE process of changes as the
election results rolled in was done with Applescript. There used to be an article about
this on Apple's web site on
automation and it's uses.
