Of course, this still won't tell you the four-character codes for the
more obscure ones (or the ones we haven't gotten around to defining);
for that, you need to read Folders.h.
is there any chance we can get a "container of path to me" (e.g.,
"cp2m") without asking the Finder for it? AFAIC, path to me always
requires cumbersome additional string processing, since in 99.99% of
cases, what I really want to know is the path to the enclosing folder.
