Maybe such is not the point here, but now we should have a cool way to
generate long lists. The Satimage osax (v 2.4.3) can create (very quickly)
arbitrarily long "array of reals" (a new class that the Satimage osax
introduces) and (less rapidly) cast them into a standard AppleScript list.
