No -- both use their own terms for it, and on in fact uses a separate class.
But to me, "bounding rectangle" seems more an English term rather than a
programmatic one -- the dictionary could say "bounds list", but by saying
"bounds bounding rectangle" it's telling you a bit more. The order is
probably more an issue of trigonomic convention.
